Recommended Vendors

We have had the opportunity to work with some amazing vendors while filming weddings. With that in mind, we wanted to share the names of those who have impressed us the most. Our criteria for making this list is quite simple: if Sarah and I were getting married all over again, these are the people we would consider hiring to be a part of our special day!

DJs
Elysium Wedding Entertainment
Nicholas Hardy was our wedding DJ, and it appears that business has been good, as his company has grown! Nick works to get your guests dancing without being overbearing. His music—and cool ambient lighting—sets the mood for a fun night.

Rodney Lamar Page
Rodney is the first DJ we’ve come across—since our wedding—that is also a musician. His violin playing skills are amazing! In addition, he mixes music during dancing, which creates a great “nightclub” atmosphere for your reception.

Cakes
Jennifer Quinn’s Creative Cakes
Full disclosure: Jennifer is Sarah’s cousin. With that out of the way, Jennifer has an awesome talent for designing cakes! At weddings, I often find myself judging the taste of the cake based on how closely it resembles Jennifer’s. Rarely do they come close.

Special Events
Capital City Wedding Doves
If you’re looking to do something creative on your wedding day, consider a dove release! There is a humorous story that comes with this recommendation, but let’s just say that this family will do all it can to ensure that your wedding day is memorable!
